Denver, CO’s Public Opinion are gearing up for the impending release of their debut album, Painted On Smile, that is due out on the 6th September via Convulse Records. Ahead of the album’s release they’re back with one more early taste of the album, their anthemic new single Some Don’t.
Painted On Smile sounds like Public Opinion truly coming into their own. Co-produced by Ian Shelton (Militarie Gun / Regional Justice Center) along with engineer Taylor Young (Twitching Tongues / God’s Hate), the record takes the melodicism lurking within Public Opinion‘s primordial punk and brings it to the forefront. With the biting execution of hardcore, the primal swagger of garage rock and the widescreen hooks of 2000s indie rock, Public Opinion have created a highly potent cocktail of loud rock & roll.
