Punch Join Deathwish, Inc.

San Francisco’s Punch were recently welcomed to the Deathwish, Inc. family and have finished up recording their label debut. The band plans to release Nothing Lasts (no release date announced), a 7-song EP that combines each band member’s input into one solid, promising piece of work.

Deathwish, Inc. will put out the 7″ vinyl EP in conjunction with Discos Huelga and 625 Thrash.

Nothing Lasts was recorded in East Palo Alto, CA by engineer Jack Shirley, owner of Atomic Garden Studios. The sessions, which took place this past June, were focused on capturing each member’s intense ability in order to accurately reflect their musical influences without sounding forced or contrived.

Punch are recently on tour in Europe and will close out this run with an appearance at Fluff Fest in the Czech Republic on July 23rd.
