Sea Urchin have released their new single, Escape (The Piña Colada Song), via streaming platforms. The track is taken from the official mixtape for Booger, a brand new horror comedy that is now available via Dark Sky Films. This version of track takes a different path from the Rupert Holmes original that appeared in Guardians Of The Galaxy, as Sea Urchin‘s Matt Strickland puts it “Sea Urchin’s take is as if the Misfits circa 1978 liked making love at midnight in the dunes on the cape.”
“If you like making love at midnight then you WILL LIKE our latest track. We were lucky enough to be part of the mixtape for the new horror/comedy film Booger! We join some other incredible bands to cover Escape (The Piña Colada Song) by Rupert Holmes and we Urchin it up. It’s perfect we’re perfect.” (Matt Strickland)
