Having formed in 2017, today’s incarnation of Shoegazers is a far cry from the acoustic project it started out as. After a number of line-up changes and the shock of the pandemic, the band close the year with a brand new self titled EP, their first new music since 2019’s Love Notes EP. The three track, self-titled offering from the Atlanta crew marries punk, indie and emo influence, with a moving and melodic delivery that nods to the likes of Somos and Rozwell Kid.

Playing songs about love, heartbreak and mental health issues, the Georgia natives deliver a contemplative and thought-provoking three-track, an honest and relatable nod to the 2010 emo revival. Their new EP is out now via 59 X Records and hones influence from across the alternative spectrum; splashes of the 2010 emo revival acts, as well as modern punk and alternative rock notes flowering on the band’s new collection.

The Shoegazers EP is out now via digital platforms including Spotify & Bandcamp
