Burlington, Ontario’s Silverstein have revealed plans to re-issue their best-selling debut, When Broken Is Easily Fixed, via Craft Recordings on July 9th, 2021.
Originally released in 2003 on Victory Records, the title has become an emo classic, and features such favourites as ‘Giving Up‘ and ‘Smashed into Pieces.’ Tthe newly remastered album is pressed on 180-gram, canary yellow vinyl and housed in a tip-on jacket, and a limited-edition yellow marble vinyl can be found exclusively at Silverstein’s webstore.
It can be pre-ordered here.
Following Concord’s 2019 acquisition of Victory Records, Craft Recordings is now the indie label’s back catalogue, which includes titles from the likes of Taking Back Sunday, Thursday, A Day to Remember, and, of course, Silverstein. Craft is currently working on a variety of re-issues which will see some of the classic Victory Records albums see a new pressing.
As far as Silverstein goes, they released their 10th studio album – A Beautiful Place to Drown – in March 2020 right before the COVID-19 Pandemic. They will finally be able to tour in support of that album later this year and will be going on a 19-date run which kicks off 4th November at Cleveland’s House of Blues and concludes 12th December at Toronto’s Danforth Music Hall. Tickets and tour dates can be found here.
