Philly-based indie punk rockers Stud Count are back with Through My Window, the next single from their upcoming self-titled album. With an album coming out in the summer and an appearance at the So What?! Music Festival on the horizon, this track prefaces a new era for the band. The fashion-forward, eye-catching music video was produced by Matt Bender, who helped bring the vision for this single to life. The track’s upbeat, infectious melody is about growing up and recognizing the things we unlearn as we mature in relationships.

“We wrote the song about growing up and recognizing the things we unlearn as we mature in relationships. When I was a kid, I thought like a kid, but now that I’m grown, I think like I’m grown. There’s something precious found in the intimacy of commitment with one person, I’m blessed to have found that. For the video, we really wanted to capture the bummer of dating until suddenly happening upon ‘the one.’ Matt Bender (producer) did an incredible job making everything come to life. He found this super cool mid-modern house to film in, weird masks for our bandmates to wear etc. We had a blast filming, and are beyond happy to finally show this thing to everyone.” (vocalist Norelle Green)

Stud Count Spring 22 Tour

Still unsure of if or when shows would come back, they sat on the record until the summer of 2021 until eventually finding their home on Florida’s Smartpunk Records. With the world opened up and their debut self-titled album on the way out, Stud Count stands to have a busy 2022, including a run of US tour dates that kick off tomorrow in Johnson City, TN.
