Getting Dumber Drop New Single & Video “A Love So Little”
Perth clock-rockers Getting Dumber are back with a fresh wad of chewed up 'n' spat out bubblegum punk! Recorded, mixed and mastered…
Though Manchester is a music city, renowned as much for its independent ethos as it is for spawning the likes of The Smiths, The Stone Roses and Oasis, there’s no doubt that, from the outside at least, it’s also a city seemingly happy to rest on its laurels, as indenti-kit indie bands aim to ape the successes of those that came before them. Fortunately, where Supera Morza are concerned, that shit doesn’t fly. A four-piece hailing from both Manchester and Bolton, the band haven’t so much carved their own niche, as blasted it out of the city’s bedrock. Combining grunge with an inimitable sense of punk nihilism, they harbour a wilful and blissful ignorance to the influence of the city they call home, instead taking cues from bands such as Nirvana, The Pixies, Sonic Youth & Fontaines DC in order to craft something as incendiary as it is acerbic, and that’s utterly their own.

The band’s third single, Working It Out, is two-and-a-half minutes of blistering anarchic grunge, it’s as uncompromising as it is unflinching; only hanging around long enough to sear itself into your brain and cementing Supera Morza as one of Manchester’s most exciting prospects. The band had this to say: “Guilt is enough to sink someone, and paranoia is enough to sink you to the ground” the band explain. “Working It Out’ tackles this feeling head on with our classic balls-to-the-wall assault to the senses. Thunderous drums, killer lead, wall wobbling bass and aggressive, chaotic vocals create a feeling that you’re not leaving the same as you were before”
