Las Vegas teen punks The Dollheads have released their new Fat Mike (NOFX) produced single, Teenage Runaway, that is now available through streaming platforms, Bandcamp and on 7″ vinyl via Fat Wreck Chords. The band have wrapped up touring for 2024 but will announcing further dates in the New Year and have already confirmed they will be returning to the UK in the Summer, including their return to the Rebellion Festival after a triumphant appearance on the Introducing Stage in August.
“During the COVID quarantine, we binged Freaks and Geeks over and over again. Its opening song, Joan Jett’s “Bad Reputation,” had us so obsessed that we’d never skip the intro. Around this time, our band started writing music, drawing inspiration from musicians like Joan Jett and the Ramones to dive into punk. Teenage Runaway is the perfect tribute to the woman who inspired us and started it all: Joan Jett.”
