When The Ovines set out to record their freshly released EP, Two Bucks & A Bottle of Ketchup, they weren’t just making music, they were documenting the messy raw chaos of modern life. Five tracks of emotional release, biting social commentary, and unfiltered honesty, the EP reflects the struggles, laughter, and grit that define the band’s journey. The Ovines will be celebrating the release of Two Bucks & A Bottle of Ketchup with a launch party on July 31st at East London’s Signature Brew Haggerston.

There’s a working class defiance in their approach, marrying rebellious Punk attitudes with a party band looseness, drawing as much from the Dub Reggae roots of Fat Freddy’s Drop as from Punk’s raw energy. Beneath the tongue in cheek humour and rowdy energy lies a lyrical focus on the grind of adult life, themes of mental health, financial pressure, and late-twenties disillusionment.
