The Punk Rock Museum Announces “Canadian Connection” & Readings From Jack Grisham & Blag Dahlia

The Punk Rock Museum has announced it’s next run of guest appearances commencing with Jack Grisham (TSOL) who will not only putting a shift in as a tour guide, but will also be will be doing a special book reading and signing for all the museum guests on the 14th June. For those unfamiliar with Jack Grisham‘s work, he is a prolific artist, morphing back and forth from a disturbing to an enlightening storyteller. No surprise to those familiar with his many levels of mood and perspective, his latest novel, True Stories, will be available to purchase and be personally signed directly from the author.

KJ Jansen (Chixdiggit!) and Grant Lawrence (The Smugglers) represent the Canadian Connection at The Punk Rock Museum with both undertaking guided tours, Chixdiggit! will also be making an appearance at the Pennywise Rehearsal Space in the museum on the 23rd June so that guests can sing along while absorbing all the tales of late night Tim Hortons runs. Grant Lawrence will also be doing a reading from his book, Dirty Windshields, that chronicles the band’s booze-fueled, sweaty, broke and wayward attempts at rock and roll glory as they trekked across Canada, the United States, and eventually, Europe and the Pacific Rim.

Blag Dahlia

Blag Dahlia (Dwarves) will be reading from his new transgressive novel, Highland Falls, at The Punk Rock Museum on July 4th. Blag Dahlia will also share history, insights and dirty stories from his forty years making underground music, while giving his unique perspective on the treasures and travesties on display. Juicy anecdotes, gossip, and outright lies are guaranteed when Blag takes on tour guide duties in July.
