The SoapGirls Reveal New Album “In My Skin”

South Africa’s wildest band, The SoapGirls, consist of French-born, South African-raised sisters Noemie Debray (Mie) (guitar, vocals) & Camille Debray (Mille) (bass guitar, vocals) The fearless siblings began their music career as child street performers at ages 8 and 9, roaming the streets of Cape Town singing whilst selling handmade soap for charity, earning them their name. Armed with unforgettable melodies and catchy choruses, The SoapGirls energy, rawness and authenticity live, has earned them a formidable reputation. The SoapGirls write outsider anthems that are androgynous, audacious and straight from the heart. In My Skin is the fourth album from the duo that follows on from 2019’s Elephant In The Room.

The duo’s Don’t Give A Damn Tour 2022 has so far conquered the UK, Netherlands, Austria, Germany, Denmark, Belgium, France, Switzerland, and Italy. Slaying critics, and packing out venues, This tour and previous tours have earned a dedicated group of followers across Europe known as The SoapSuds. Some of whom follow the band across Europe & the UK. The tour returns to the UK in late June before heading off to the USA & Japan later in the year.
