Los Angeles post-hardcore act Touché Amoré has announced that they will be releasing a new album this fall. The album will mark their fifth studio album and will be titled, Lament, which is due out October 9, 2020 via Epitaph Records. The band released their last LP, Stage Four, in 2016 via Epitaph Records.
Coinciding with the announcement, the band has premiered the new song “I’ll Be Your Host.” Jeremy Bolm comments on the track:
I’ll Be Your Host’ is a song about the overwhelming nervousness I get when someone approaches me and talks to me about their dead loved ones … I feel horrible because I 100% understand why they’re sharing it with me. It’s hard having to stomach tragic story after tragic story while sometimes being asked advice when I absolutely don’t have the answers.”
