Tours: End Of A Year Self Defense Family (West Coast)

Post-hardcore band End Of A Year Self Defense Family have recently announced a few West Coast shows, with a surprise venue in Los Angeles yet to be announced, via their official website. The band’s latest release You Are Beneath Me (Deathwish, Inc.), which was released last year, can be streamed here.

In a statement released by the band on their site, the band justifies the reason for only a handful of dates:

Here’s the deal: We’re coming out to the West Coast for just a couple days. If bands were honest with themselves they’d admit that playing a billion shows is just a way to avoid their abusive home-lives and not a way to express themselves. So we’re doing it the way it should be done: Small number of shows acting as your only chance to see us this year. You drive to see us or you stay home and watch Everybody Loves Raymond. World turns either way. – End Of A Year Self Defense Family
