Wax frontman and co-owner of SideOneDummy Records, Joe Sib is taking his critically acclaimed show, California Calling: A Story Of Growing Up Punk Rock, back on the road. The acclaimed one-man show performance piece is Sib’s memoir about growing up in California and falling in love with punk rock. The show crosses between theater, comedy, spoken word, multimedia presentation amongst other forms of storytelling. A video introduction to Sib’s performance can be found at Vimeo here.
In addition to the live show, Joe Sib is releasing a five story CD entitled True Stories And Bad Ideas, which is available for purchase at all shows as well as on SideOneDummy’s website here. All proceeds from CD sales will go to UCP Wheels for Humanity, more information about the charity can be found here.
Sib will also be bringing special guests Dave Haus, from The Loved Ones as well as Altercation Punk Comedy Tour’s JT Haberstatt on certain dates of the tour. California Calling tour dates can be found below.
