On May 18th Spanish City Records will re-release “I’m Not The Artist“, the 2007 EP by melodic hardcore band Tripdash, with all proceeds going to charity. “I’m Not The Artist” was originally released via PassTotheLeft Records, the reissue is being made available digitally and as a limited run CD digipack that features the original EP in its entirety, along with subsequent recordings made by the band prior to their break-up in 2009, which are getting their first formal release. Domestic abuse help-lines have received an astronomical spike in calls during the COVID-19 pandemic. To this end, all profits generated from sales of “I’m Not The Artist” will be donated to Stay Brave, a charitable organisation which helps survivors of rape, abuse and intimate violation find “the help they need and the respect they deserve”.  The digital version of the record can be pre-ordered from all major outlets, the CD itself is only available via the band’s official Bandcamp page.
