Two Cow Garage to Release New Album in September

Columbus Ohio’s punk sons Two Cow Garage have announced their new album The Death of the Self-Preservation Society will be released in partnership with Last Chance Records  in September of this year. The band retreated to the countryside setting of Hi/Lo Studios, which is actually a 100 year old barn (we suspect more than 2 cows could fit in this ‘garage’ though). Vocalist Micah Schnabel enjoyed being back in the studio and has said that being in a more isolated location helped the band focus:

“We’ve recorded there a few times and we have just fallen in love with it,” Schnable said of the studio. “We sleep in the old farm house and wake up every morning to go out and record all day and night. The studio is actually up in what would be the hay loft and it overlooks the farm. It’s just a great place to be locked away and not have the distractions of every day life.”

The Death of the Self-Preservation Society was initially funded through an Indiegogo project, but for those who didn’t, its not long to wait now!
