VRGNSOrlando’s VRGNS, and their label Kiss Of Death Records, has released the Orlando based groups new album, Manimals, as a free download over on the label’s website.  Manimals was recorded by Chris Owes of Lords in Louisville, KY.  Guitarist/vocalist Johnson offers an insight as to the album’s direction, listing a range of inspirations and influences:

“This is my favorite shit I’ve done and it seriously rocks. I feel like it’s got a lot of old punk influences like Dead Boys, Adolescents, The Damned, and Circle Jerks, but rocks like my current faves like Nirvana, Hot Snakes and some poppy shit too, like The Dickies or some badass shit like The Dwarves.”

Since their previous release, 2008’s MiscarriageVRGNS have welcomed new member and bassist Alex Goldfarb (Gatorface).  They are currently scheduled to appear at this year’s edition of THE FEST in Gainesville, FL over Halloween weekend.

The album is available for download here.
