Vandalism - Shoplifter Records
Rum Lad, the self described Derbyshire, UK indie punk ‘n rolla, is a working class musician savvy enough to know when people are bullshitting him, his new album “Vandalism” spits and snarls without compromise as it observes life today, knocking lumps out of a Tory government that is looking down its nose at those same working class like they are the shit on their shoe. “Vandalism” is a ten track record of sheer ferocity taking no prisoners, with tracks like ‘Frauds‘ and ‘Tory Boy‘ getting right to the point, leaving the listener in no doubt at the disgust that Rum Lad has for Boris and Co.
“Vandalism” is calling them out, Rum Lad has seen and heard enough to know when this government is destroying and dividing us. This is Rum Lad‘s party political broadcast on behalf of the underdogs. “Vandalism” will be available sometime in November initially as a digital only release, with a vinyl run planned for somewhere between the end of December 2020 and early January 2021 on his own Shoplifter Records imprint, but it’s dependent on raising the final 12% (at the time of writing) of the crowdfunder campaign that is currently running, you can read more about the album and pre-order “Vandalism” on vinyl here
“Vandalism” is a strident and stunning ten track album that pulls no punches, it questions the Government and takes them to task for their lack of support for the working class and the weakest in our country today.
You can watch Rum Lad‘s videos on his official website here and download two free tracks, ‘DNA’ and ‘Boy Racer’.
