Long before streaming playlists and algorithm-driven recommendations, punk scenes were discovering new bands through compilations. They weren’t just collections of songs. They were snapshots of a community, maps connecting labels, countries, friendships and scenes that otherwise would never have crossed paths. For almost ten years, Punk Rock Raduno has continued one of punk’s finest traditions, bringing together exclusive recordings from the artists arriving in Bergamo each July. The result is Punk Rock Raduno Vol. 9, a 31-track collection featuring unreleased songs, live recordings and rare cuts from this year’s lineup is now available via streaming platforms and Bandcamp. The compilation opens with Make Your Own Kind Of Music, this year’s official festival anthem performed by Merel Schaap (Lone Wolf) and Andrea Manges (The Manges), before moving through every corner of the contemporary punk rock underground with contributions from Dwarves, Pansy Division, The Queers, Kepi Ghoulie, Giuda, M.O.T.O., Bee Bee Sea, The Raging Nathans, Lone Wolf, Kingons, Discomostro, Succo Marcio, Manduria and many more.

Released digitally today, the Punk Rock Raduno compilation will also be available as a limited edition of 500 black vinyl copies, produced together with longtime partners Stardumb Records, Mom’s Basement Records and Radiation Records, and released exclusively during the festival. Since 2016, Punk Rock Raduno has grown into one of Europe’s best-loved independent punk rock festivals while remaining completely free to attend. Every summer it transforms Bergamo into a four-day celebration of DIY culture, filling parks, clubs, bookstores, bike workshops and community spaces with concerts, exhibitions, record fairs, films, workshops and visitors travelling from all over the world. This year’s edition, Make Your Own Kind Of Music, takes place between the 16th and 19th July.
