Bayside Drop “Anywhere But Here” EP

Since their formation in 2000, Bayside have been the purveyors of heartbreak that you can sing along and sink your teeth into. The Queens’ quartet consistently craft perfect blends of gritty punk energy and razor-sharp pop hooks, giving the alternative world emotionally raw storytelling wrapped up in punchy catchiness that mirrors the chaotic world we live in. Between wars, COVID, political unrest and more, the bar to reach happiness continues to be raised every year. That in mind, Bayside have tapped into times where punk music reigned supreme and the scene was united in their goal to find the bands that made beats that encouraged us all to sing along. Bayside have now released Anywhere But Here; a digital collection of five songs that have been carefully plucked from their back catalogue including mainstays like Devotion And Desire, The Walking Wounded, and Monster, a track that was only previously available on the vinyl pressing of their 2011 album Killing Time. Anywhere But Here is now available through the streaming platforms via Fearless Records, the EP also features cover art by drummer Chris Guglielmo.

Bayside will be appearing at US festivals across the Summer and beyond, including Patchogue, NY’s Great South Bay Music Festival, North Ridgeville, OH’s The Afterburner Ohio Music Festival , Chicago, IL’s Riot Fest, Pittsburgh, PA’s Four Chord Music Festival and the Vans Warped Tour in Long Beach, CA and Orlando, FL.
