On October 4th, Baltimore hardcore outfit Tripper will release their new EP, Faceless, via Thirty Something Records and the band have today shared the frenetic single Addicted. Vocalist Nic Ledford‘s stark, pissed off vocals about self destructive habits are accompanied by a barrage of thumping drums, intense bass and revved up guitars that create unique, shifty rhythms that make Tripper stand apart from their peers.

Faceless was recorded and mixed by Kevin Bernsten at Developing Nations in Baltimore, MD and mastered by James Plotkin (Khanate / OLD). The result is four songs that push forth hardcore punk through a modern experimental lens. Drawing from bands like Punch and Gel as much as Every Time I Die and Converge, you’ll hear a tough delivery backed by exploratory, groove-driven rhythms.
