Winnipeg’s Tunic explore the darkness of their hometown on “Exhaling“, the band’s new album that is due out on April 9th via Artoffact Records. The trio use their visceral art punk approach to explore themes related to coping with the illness of a loved one, the dark side of creativity and dealing with toxic friendships. Their new single ‘Invalid‘ comes from frontman David Schellenberg‘s own disdain with the life he chose of pursuing music. That constant feeling of judgement from your peers, parents and, more importantly, yourself.
